What is Lagos Life?

Lagos Life is a multiplayer life simulation game that runs in your web browser. You create a Sim, choose a home, work shifts, pay rent, make friends and date in one shared, Lagos-inspired city with other real players. Its creator, developer Shalom Rayhamen, has said the idea came from growing up with The Sims 3 and from seeing Eureka's browser game Lagos Run. The game is run by Eliy, according to its Terms of Service.

How popular is it? The game took off in early October 2026. The game's public stats page showed more than 1.8 million all-time visits as of 4 October 2026, and the number of players online at the same time has passed 10,000 (the creator reported more than 11,000 on 3 October).

  2. Create your Sim. Choose a look, two personality traits and a lifetime dream, such as Oga at the Top or Lekki Landlord.
  3. Take the birth lottery. You don't choose this. The game makes you either a Nepo Baby or a LAPO Baby, once per account.
